Construction of the 2nd start-up facility of highway M-5 Urals on the section from the Small Moscow Ring Road up to Ulianino village.

A state contract was concluded on December 16, 2012 for construction of the 2nd start-up facility of the detour around Ulianino village. The section as currently under construction will connect the traffic interchange on the 57th km of highway M-5 Urals (1st start-up facility) with Starnikovo-Tatarintsevo motor road and an access to highway M-5 Urals around the 69th km of the highway. Construction of 1 bridge, 2 overhead crossings, 5 structures for connection of isolated territories are planned on the section. The quantity of fill comprises approximately 1.6 million cub. meters of soil. The works are planned to be completed in June 2013.

The works are currently performed for creation of the construction camp together with preparatory works including rearrangement of the networks of telephone conduits.

Autobahn continued implementing the GPS monitoring system during 2011. 89 units of equipment and vehicles were equipped with the transmitters by the year end. The experience of usage of the GPS monitoring system in 2011 was summarized: average fuel consumption was reduced per 1 machine hour for equipment and per 100 km of run of motor vehicles; the savings comprised more than 2.5 million rubles starting from the beginning of the year.

A set of works for laying of the upper layer of the coating made of porous coarse-grained road concrete mix on the main tracks, service tracks and in the paddock area.
The work for installation of barriers, perimeter fences and FIA barriers is being performed. The facility is being prepared for wintertime shutdown.
